About the Artwork on This Site

The product illustrations you see across this site were drawn specifically for YouNiquely Yours Creations in the brand's own teal, yellow and pink palette. They are original artwork, not stock images, which means there are no licensing restrictions and nothing here belongs to anyone else.

Why illustrations rather than photographs

For a business built on custom work, generic stock photography actively works against you. A stock photo of somebody else's t-shirt tells a visitor nothing about what you would make for them, and shoppers have learned to scroll straight past it.

These panels hold the layout cleanly and keep the brand colors consistent while the site is in preview. They are placeholders with a purpose rather than filler.

What replaces them before launch

Real photographs of real finished orders. Nothing sells custom work like seeing the actual thing somebody received: the shirt on the family at the reunion, the tumblers lined up before the wedding, the backdrop with people standing in front of it.

Photos taken on a recent phone are perfectly good enough. A few practical notes that make a large difference:

• Shoot near a window in daylight rather than under ceiling lights
• Put the item against a plain wall, table or sheet so it stands out
• Take one straight-on shot and one at a slight angle for each product
• Photograph finished orders before they ship, since they are rarely available afterwards
• Where a customer is happy to be included, a photo of the item in use is worth several product shots
